Shabbat Hanukkah Morning Service and Torah Study

  • Special guest Torah Study with Maggid Charna, 11:30 AM

Maggid Charna Rosenholtz is in her twenty-ninth year of weekly Torah study, facilitating since 2005. She brings a profound understanding of Torah's relevance to daily life - that taps into the practical as well as the deeply spiritual. Drawing upon a broad reading of the great Rabbinic and Kabbalistic masters, she plumbs the depths of the Hebrew language as a holy vehicle for the transmission of Torah wisdom. Through a lens that everyone has something to say, learning is participatory and interactive with every attendant invited to bring creativity of thought and personal understanding to the process of revealing Torah's messages.

Charna will share her approach to Torah learning and facilitate a participatory study of the Torah portion. No previous experience necessary! This handout outlines her approach.

Maggid Charna is a senior status rabbinic student with Aleph Ordination Program and will ordain in January 2021. She teaches nationally, and resides in Boulder, CO. Find out more about her on her website.
